What Are ACSS Conductors?
ACSS conductors are designed for high-temperature, high-capacity overhead lines. They consist of fully annealed aluminium strands over a strong steel core, allowing continuous operation at elevated temperatures without sagging. These are ideal for uprating existing transmission lines without replacing towers.
